1. Create a Crypto Wallet

For the the best experience, we recommend completing these instructions on your smartphone. Just like you would with any bank account, consider setting up your crypto wallet on a personal phone with a personal email address rather than a work phone with a work email address.

  1. If you don’t already have a crypto wallet with one of these listed providers, follow these instructions to create one. First, navigate to OpenSea.io

If you already have a crypto wallet with any of these providers, you can skip to step b.

  1. Select a crypto wallet provider from the list above, such as MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet.

TIP: If you select Coinbase Wallet, be sure to use the Coinbase Wallet app (Apple/iOS or Android) and not the Coinbase app.

  1. Install the mobile app for your crypto wallet of choice on your phone.
  2. Follow the prompts to create your crypto wallet. You will need a personal email address to set up your wallet. You will not need a debit card for this account set up process.

TIP: It may ask if you want to make your account ‘public’ or ‘private’ during setup. We recommend choosing ‘public’ for our purposes. 4. Important: During wallet creation, a 12-word recovery phrase will be issued to you. Be sure to save your recovery phrase to a safe place, such as a password manager and/or a physical safe. This recovery phrase is the only way for you to recover your wallet if you forget or lose your password.

2. ****Connect your crypto wallet to OpenSea NFT Marketplace

  1. On your phone, make sure that you are signed into your crypto wallet app.
  2. Go to https://opensea.io in your browser (ie Safari, Chrome, or Firefox).

TIP: OpenSea does have a mobile app, but it does not have all the functionality of the browser. Therefore, we recommend the OpenSea website in the browser over the mobile app. 3. Open the menu in the top right corner and tap “Connect wallet”.

  1. Select your crypto wallet provider from the list.
